We are excited to welcome you to Wharton’s 19th Africa Business Forum (WABF). First hosted in 1981, WABF is one of the oldest and largest Africa investment-focused events in the United States. Consistent with Wharton’s emphasis on global initiatives and innovation, the Forum draws together Africa’s top business thinkers, innovators, and executives to debate the themes and best practices that are driving growth and development on the continent.
Participants in past conferences recognize WABF as an event that takes the discussion beyond familiar questions of whether and why to invest in Africa, and dives into explorations of innovation and operational best practice already taking place. This year in particular, we’ll highlight the successes and challenges of growing enterprises, serving African consumers, and the changing business climate. Come engage on these topics and many others under this year’s Forum theme, This is Africa: Celebrating Innovation and Operational Excellence. No matter your vision, we invite you to come see Africa through us, and be inspired.
On behalf of the Wharton African Students Association, we are thrilled to welcome participants from across the continent – and the globe. We look forward to seeing you in Philadelphia.
Best Regards
CJ Bak Evangeline Wiles
